Standard Terms and Conditions of Agreement

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions of Agreement (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between the parent/guardian (“Client”) and Christian College (“Provider”), a South African-based educational service provider offering CAPS-aligned extra lessons, after-school care, and home-school support via https://christiancollege.co.za.

2. Registration and Enrolment

  • Registration is complete only after the Client submits all required information and payment is successfully received.
  • Enrolment is subject to the Provider’s confirmation and space availability in the relevant classes.

3. Payment Terms

  • Monthly fees are payable in advance on or before the 1st day of each month.
  • If a student registers mid-month, a pro-rata fee is applicable for that month only.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank card or Instant EFT via our secure payment provider. We reserve the right to change payment providers at our discretion.
  • It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that payments are made on time. Proof of payment may be requested.
  • Failure to pay by the 1st may result in suspension of access to lessons and platform resources until payment is received in full.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by South African consumer protection laws.
  • Should a parent/guardian wish to cancel a learner’s enrolment, a written notice of cancellation must be provided at least 7 days before the next billing cycle.
  • No refunds will be issued for partially used months or for missed lessons.
  • If access is revoked due to non-payment or policy violations, the Provider is not obligated to refund any amount paid.

5. Payment Disputes

  • In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback request through any payment provider, the Client agrees to first contact the Provider to attempt a resolution before escalating the matter to the payment provider.
  • Unfounded chargebacks or disputes may result in permanent account suspension and legal recovery of unpaid fees.

6. Attendance and Performance

  • Students are expected to attend scheduled sessions regularly and punctually. The Provider is not responsible for poor academic performance due to missed classes.
  • Missed lessons will not be rescheduled or credited unless due to Provider error or cancellation.

7. Content and Materials

  • All educational content, lesson materials, and platform resources remain the intellectual property of Christian College.
  • Clients and students may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose content without written permission.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Students must behave respectfully towards tutors, fellow learners, and support staff.
  • Any form of disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior may result in temporary or permanent removal from the program.

9. Changes to Fees and Terms

  • The Provider reserves the right to revise fees or modify these terms with a minimum of 14 days’ written notice to Clients.
  • Continued use of services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our educational programs.
  • We do not guarantee specific academic results or outcomes.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa. All legal disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
